*Do not stop or reduce the dose of your cholesterol lowering medication without the support of your doctor.
After seeing research on the exciting field of probiotics and being put on statins by my Doctor, which I could not tolerate due to side effects, I began a serious regimen of diet, citrus bergamot and Optibac's cholesterol lowering probiotic. Additionally, I changed by exercise routine up a bit to include more cardio exercises (5x week). My Cholesterol went from 227 in late May to 161 when recently tested. My LDL ratio went from 4.3 to 2.5. I consider Optibac's product an important part of that strategy and success and include it in my daily regimen.
I eat very healthily so was very surprised to have my cholesterol flagged as an area of mild concern (borderline levels) by my doctor after a routine blood test. I didn't want to take any medication so thought I would try For Cholesterol and took it for 3 months as recommended. I didn't make any other changes to my diet or exercise regime. After my second blood test my doctor made another appointment to speak to me again, so I was worried that my cholesterol readings had got worse. But the reason the doctor made the second appointment was because he was so astounded by the second blood test results and wanted to ask me what I had been doing differently! I was very pleased to tell him, and I have continued to take the supplement on an ongoing basis. It's really easy to take every morning with my breakfast (I just pop it into cool water) and it tastes lovely, so I will be including it as part of my everyday health maintenance regime going forward.
Wow, I am super impressed with this product. I have been taking it for 3 months and I am so amazed. Really happy with my cholesterol results now. It even tastes great. Thank you

There are only a few individuals for whom probiotics may not be appropriate, such as adults or children who are immune-compromised – please see our safety information for more details.
